I see the message you are trying to convey but I dont think you are quite there yet. Possibly consider minimizing the amount of Greek letters to spell a word..you might just be safe using Sigma for the e's since it looks like one already. This just popped in myhead but you can try overlaying a book or journal open for the home page..I dont feek the door really ties the design together since it is a dufferent texture.
i think there should be direct links for each of the webpages in the web design for easier navigation. For "Katy's wall" I feel that the textured background grabs my attention more than the actual content, so maybe you could lighten the texture somehow.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I was typing on a phone :P
ReplyDeletelol don't worry about it... I understood it... =)
ReplyDeletetry using a 2 typefaces and not just the greek font. Also maybe change the door picture on the first page

ReplyDeletetrendy...
ReplyDeletethink more grid like. use verticals in the layout to create order and alignment throughout the site.
the header shape is too abstract. perhaps something less decorative and more straight considering that the rest of your site is very busy.
I would use that type concept sparingly. doesnt make sense to constantly have it. its hard to read and makes it less special if used too much
